Frequently asked questions
How do I book a tattoo with you?
If you have a preferred artist in mind, you can contact them directly from the dropdown menu at the top of the website or via their image on the artist page.
However, if you are happy to work with anyone, you can complete a general enquiry form found on the home page.
How do I prepare for my first tattoo?
To make the whole experience as painless as possible, here are a few tips for you to follow before your appointment:
Make sure to get a good night's sleep.
Have something to eat and drink and bring a sugary snack and/or drink with you.
Make sure not to consume alcohol for at least 24 hours. This normally leads to you bleeding more than usual which makes the tattoo process more difficult.
If you are worried about the pain, you can take a couple of painkillers such as ibuprofen but please don't apply any sort of numbing agent without consulting me first... I promise it won't be as bad as you expect!
Wear comfortable (and ideally black) clothing that is appropriate for the area you are getting tattooed. For torso/chest tattoos, you can either wear a shirt or will need to remove the clothing on your top half completely. Even on hot days, you can get a little chilly laying on the bed all day, so if you are coldblooded, then bringing a hoody/blanket to lay over you is a great idea! If you are a female client, I will provide nipple covers to preserve your modesty :)
If you prefer to keep yourself occupied with a book or your own music during your tattoo then I won't take it personally, feel free to pop some headphones in and let me do my thing!
How should I care for my new tattoo?
Don’t panic! We provide all the necessary aftercare products and your artist will explain exactly how to look after your new piece at the end of your session.
They will also email you a step-by-step guide to follow, just in case you forget everything they said as soon as you walk out the door (just like we all do!). You are also more than welcome to contact us after your appointment if you have any questions or concerns!
